Your constant trashing of masterpiece films
is as childish as a teenager trying to scribble graffiti
on the Mona Lisa in the Louvre.
Whether it’s Daniel Craig or Mike Myers,
they all shout about "shattering the 007 myth"
simply because they can't stand the legend.
Yet, the brilliance of Sean Connery’s and Roger Moore’s 007
will never be lost.

I truly love you.
But I feel a bit uneasy
about you calling yourself
a "movie aficionado."

If you were Japanese,
the only role you’d be given is "that person who likes weird movies."
At worst, you might even be scolded with,
"You don't understand cinema at all!"
And I believe Akira Kurosawa and Ayako Wakao would dislike your writing.
This is because both Kurosawa and Wakao were filmmakers
who truly believed in "life and love."

I do not want you to live your final years in solitude, like Ingmar Bergman.
I do not want you to choose a life that ends in euthanasia, like Jean-Luc Godard.
That is all.
